Who am I?

I'm a builder, fixer, shaker and a maker. Made games on a Commodore 64 at the age of 7, built my first car at the age of 16 (my dad was a Mechanic) and created my first child at the age of 36 -- ok, my wife probably did most of the work. I've been making things my whole life and I couldn't imagine living my life any other way.

Although I've worked across multiple platforms, professionally speaking I have been working on Apple's platforms for over 12 years now. Developing company culture, building teams, hiring, writing software and helping teams achieve technical excellence and quality assurance.

In my late teens and early twenties I worked in a variety of roles inside and out of IT. To name but a few, I was a restaurant manager, landscaper, brick-layer, tiler and oddly many many more.

Although not my passion, all of the roles I performed have made me a great communicator, team builder, and allowed me develop a lot of skills beyond just engineering.

I provide consulting and technical services to companies around the world that want to take the next leapfrog step in their processes, engineering and/or hiring.

An active contributor to the open source community -- with a focus on tooling and automation -- I've been featured in newsletters like @iOSDevWeekly here and here as well as having my work attract the attention of companies like Apple in San Francisco.
